Make your quiz above and your link appears at the end. It takes about a minute: type your name, answer 10 questions about yourself, then copy or share the link.
Most people searching for a "Don't Block Me link" either want their own quiz link to post, or got a friend's link that didn't work. This page covers both. If you want the rules and scoring first, see the Don't Block Me test guide.
What the link is
On this site the link is the quiz. A Don't Block Me link looks like this:
https://dontblockmequiz.net/#q=...
The characters after #q= hold your name and your 10 answers in a scrambled form. Your friend's browser reads them and builds the quiz on their screen. Three things follow from that:
- Nothing is saved on a server. The part after
#stays in the browser. There is no account, no database of quizzes and nothing to delete later. - The link never expires. It works as long as the site is up, because the quiz travels with it.
- The scrambling is not a lock. It stops friends from seeing your answers at a glance, but it isn't encryption. Don't put anything private in a friendship quiz.
How to get your link
- Type your name in the box at the top of the Don't Block Me quiz. This is the name friends see when they open your quiz.
- Answer 10 questions about yourself. If a question doesn't fit you, tap "Swap this question" to get another. For ideas on which ones work best, see the Don't Block Me quiz questions.
- Copy your link. The last screen shows the link with a Copy button. Copy puts a short message plus the link on your clipboard, ready to paste.
Where to share it
The share screen has buttons for WhatsApp, Telegram, X and SMS. On phones that support it there is also More…, which opens your phone's share sheet so you can pick any app.
| Where | How to post the link | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram story | Tap "Save a story image", post it, add a link sticker with your copied link | Add a line like "under 5 = blocked" |
| Snapchat story | Post the story image, attach the link | Ask people to send their score back |
| Bio link | Paste the link into your bio | Mention it in your story so people look |
| Group chat | Use WhatsApp or Telegram, or paste the copied text | Set a deadline for scores |
| One friend | Send it by SMS or DM | Personal messages get more replies |
The story image is a ready-made card with your name and the site's address. It doesn't contain your answers, so it's safe to post anywhere.
What your friends see
When a friend opens your link, they see your name and the same 10 questions, and they pick the answer they think is yours. At the end they get a score out of 10, a result card, and three buttons:
- Send my score to you. This shares or copies a short message with their score so they can send it back in the chat.
- Save image for story. A picture of their result to post.
- Make your own quiz. They become the next host with their own link.
There is no live scoreboard on the site. Scores come back to you as messages, which is also how most people like to roast each other anyway.
When the link doesn't work
It opens the home page instead of the quiz. The link was cut off. Some apps shorten long links or break them at the #. The page only shows a quiz when it can read the code after #q=. If it can't, it shows the "make a quiz" screen instead. Copy the full link again and send it as plain text.
My friend got my old answers. Every quiz you make gets its own link. If you remade your quiz, make sure you shared the newest link.
I lost my link. Because nothing is stored, the site can't look it up for you. Search your chat for the message you sent, or make a new quiz. It takes a minute.
I want to change an answer. You can't edit a link. Make the quiz again and share the new one. The old link keeps working with the old answers, so tell people which one counts.
Make more than one link
You can make as many quizzes as you want, each with its own link. Some people make one for close friends and a harder one for their story, or swap questions to run a second round. For group ideas like tournaments and couple rounds, see ways to play the Don't Block Me game.
